Timber
is a healthy, playful, active dog at 10
years old. He is well known for his great
disposition. He has an excellent, sound
temperament and is friendly and is dependable
around other dogs, including intact males.
He is also a Certified Therapy Dog, very
good with children and is secure in all
situations. Timber has also passed on
this good temperament to his off spring.
Timber has a dependable work drive and
is intelligent. He enjoys working in competitive
obedience, packing and other working events.
He earned his CGC at 12 months old.
Structure
and Coat Description:Timber
is of sound structure. He has good working
dog movement with a solid, level top line.
He has good reach and drive. He has correct
front and rear angles along with good foot
placement. He has correct breed substance,
but could use more. He also has a slight
high tail set. Timber has beautiful ear
set, correct stop and the desired dark brown
eyes. Timber has very nice tight, round
and well arched feet. He has the correct
breed 9/10 ratio . Timber has a handsome
expression with an alert attitude. Timber's
coat is of good saturated dark pigment with
black down his rear legs. He has the desired
and correct symmetrical markings including
an inverted cross. His coat length is at
the short end of the standard at 1 1/4 "
in length. He has minimal undercoat mid
body but does have dark grey undercoat present
on thighs, neck and shoulders.

& Achievements
Timber
earned " Best of Breed " at the
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America
National Speciality show in Reno, Nevada
2000. Timber was owner handled to this achievement.
Timber then went on the win the only "Award
of Merit" the next day and also earned
his second leg in obedience with a score
of 195 !
Timber
is a Multiple BOB & Group placing Swissy
with only very limited local showing. He
has been ranked in the "Top 10 all
breed" finish standings when only shown
sparingly.
Timber
won AOM at the GSMDCA Regional Speciality
in Petaluma, 9/2000 then went on to take
BOB the next day along with a Group 3 placement.
Timber took Best of Breed both days (owner
handled) from the "Veterans Class"
at the Long Beach & Shoreline KC shows-12-04.
